I was thinking that you'll need to get the cards back by mid Nov or earlier so that people can send them for xmas cards. Hopefullly the boxes arrive soon.

When you get the art paper it's in envelopes per class. just pull out the teacher data papers. You might want to type up a note to say when you need the finished art back. Give them a two week window. Tell them you want it all back together in one class set.

When you get the finished class sets, copy batches at the copier, and then staple on the adapted letter (attached) plus the order form. Havre a list of the teachers so you know you've got each class.

Give parents a week or so max to get them back.

When you give the copies/orderforms back to the teachers, give them a note to say to put in the Labelled drawer in the office pac drawer. Then put a sticker on the bottom drawer to say Card By Me in here. That way they don't get put in the wrong place. Last year one set was 'lost" in the hot lunch drawer. The other set was lost in the bottom drawer... which we didnt' even know was our drawer.

Check to make sure you have each teacher's set. Record the kid's name on the tally sheet per class as you check the money. I'd sit with one in front of me. Find the good art in the class set, check the money matched the order. Write the order on the master sheet, then put the orderform/art with paperclip into a folder. That way I knew if it was in the main folder, it was paid for. Do it one class at a time, one kid at a time, so you dont' get mixed up.

I did this a few times as orders came in, as some teachers gave me the orders not altogether. There is a lot of money kicking around, so maybe that's ok, if you're ok with it. hmmm.
